Freyr is not a god who watches from a distance and blesses what grows. Cattle fatten under his attention. Fields do not fail. He gave up his sword — the one that fought giants on its own — for love, and he did it without hesitation, because Freyr has always understood that what you tend is worth more than what you can defend.

Come Samhain, when the veil thins and the last harvest comes in, it is Freyr's work being counted.
