Nott’s Nebula Rune Wax Melts

She was driving the chariot before anyone thought to name the dark.

Nótt — Night herself, personified, ancient beyond the counting of ages — rides across the sky each evening in her chariot pulled by Hrímfaxi, the frost-maned horse whose bit-foam falls to earth as the morning dew. She does not arrive dramatically. She does not announce herself. The light simply recedes and she is there, vast and complete and older than almost everything else in the cosmology, doing what she has always done without requiring acknowledgment or applause.

The night sky is her work. The nebula is what she leaves behind when she moves through it.

Nótt's Nebula carries that deep, cool, impossibly complex darkness into your space — night-blooming musk and ozonic air and the particular stillness of somewhere far above the treeline where the stars are not background but foreground, present and close and slightly overwhelming if you let yourself actually look at them. The runes carved into each tile are not decoration here. They are navigation — the Elder Futhark pressed into wax the way the old navigators pressed meaning into everything they needed to find their way through the dark.

Each tile features hand-carved Elder Futhark runes and is poured in small batches by the hands of Midgard Artistry.

Place in any standard wax warmer. Keep away from open flame. Do not leave unattended. Best experienced after dark — though Nótt has never required an invitation.
