Yes, There's Real Unicorn Poop in It

Midgard Artistry & Apothecary

Walk into our booth and the first thing you'll hear is "Welcome in!" The second thing is a quick lesson on how to read our soap.

How to read a Midgard bar

A smooth-cut bar is scented with fragrance oil. A ridge-cut bar is scented with natural ingredients. And if the label says coffee, bourbon, beer, mead, honey, rose, or oatmeal, that ingredient is actually in the bar. No pretending.

Which brings us to the unicorn

Sooner or later, somebody picks up the Unicorn Poop bar, reads the label, and asks the obvious question: "Hey, does this have actual unicorn poop in it?"

Yes. Yes, it does.

It's 8 o'clock at night. Justin's out in the woods, dodging game wardens, tracking a unicorn through the dark. He follows it for what feels like forever, keeping low and keeping quiet, waiting for nature to take its course. And when it finally does, he moves in and scoops up a fresh pile of sparkly pink unicorn poop.

That's what goes in every bar. Hard-earned. Ethically sourced. Mostly.

The honest answer

Most people just laugh. Then they buy some.

For the record, Unicorn Poop Goat Milk Soap smells like Fruity Pebbles. And that colorful confetti "unicorn poop" inside? It's actually shavings and bits and pieces from our other 60 varieties of soap, so every bar is a little different. Since it's a goat milk bar, you're getting a gentle, creamy wash that smells like Saturday morning cartoons. It's a great gift for kids, for that friend who loves anything pink and sparkly, or for anyone who needs a laugh every time they shower.

Come ask us about it at the next faire. We'll tell you the whole story, game wardens and all. Skål.
