Auðumbla's Bounty

Before the gods, there was a cow.

At the very beginning, in the gap between fire and ice, the frost melted and two beings came out of it. One was Ymir, the first giant. The other was Auðumbla, the great cow. Four rivers of milk ran from her, and that is what fed Ymir. She fed herself by licking the salty rime-stones, and over three days her tongue uncovered a man inside the ice: Búri, grandfather of Odin.

Everything in the Norse cosmos starts with something being nourished. The first act of creation is a meal.

Auðumbla's Bounty is the plainest, oldest kind of soap there is. Tallow, cold processed, no fragrance at all. A hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather and nothing added that doesn't need to be there. For sensitive noses, simple routines, and anyone who wants their soap to be soap.
