Mímir’s Gold Soap

Odin gave an eye for one drink from this well.

Mímir guarded the well beneath Yggdrasil's root, and he drank from it every morning with the Gjallarhorn. That is why Mímir knew things no one else knew. When Odin wanted that wisdom, the price was not gold. It was his eye. He paid it without hesitating, because some things are worth exactly what they cost.

Later, when the Æsir sent Mímir to the Vanir and the Vanir sent back his head, Odin preserved it with herbs and spoke charms over it. He kept consulting it. Wisdom that real does not get thrown away.

Mímir's Gold is made with real mead from our partners at Savannah Bee Company. Not a mead-scented oil. Actual honey wine, worked into the bar, where the natural sugars build a richer, more generous lather than a plain bar can manage. Golden, warm, and honeyed, the way the mead hall smelled when the horn came around.
