Wild apples, packed in alongside the sledges and the tapestries and everything else a woman of power would need on the far side. Apples were never just food in the North. Iðunn's apples kept the gods young. An apple carried by a messenger in the shape of a crow ended a king's long wait for an heir in the Völsunga saga. The fruit of the orchard was always a little bit of a spell.

Every village had someone who understood that. The woman at the edge of town whose trees always bore. Whose cider was always the one people came back for. Whose kitchen smelled like fall in every season.

Orchard Witch is an apple cider goat milk bar: crisp apple, warm and lightly spiced, the smell of a cider press in October and the first cold night that tells you the year is turning.
