Resin potion jar

Some things do not need an explanation. They just need a shelf.

Small. Solid. Satisfying in the hand in the way that only something with real weight to it can be satisfying. The resin potion jar does not claim to contain anything specific. It does not come with instructions or intentions or a card explaining what it is for. It sits where you put it and looks exactly like what it is — a little vessel cast in resin, shaped like something that belongs in the collection of someone who keeps interesting things around them.

Like the Náströnd Skulls, no two are identical. Color shifts between pours. Inclusions land where they land — glitter catching light at angles that were never planned, crystals suspended exactly where the resin decided to stop moving that day. Some are deep and dark. Some are bright and translucent. Some carry things inside them that have no explanation beyond the particular alchemy of the pour that produced them.

Altar. Shelf. Desk. Windowsill where the light hits it right.

Wherever you put it, it belongs there.
