Not something gentle. Not something that eases you in. Forge Fire takes the pine tar that started Midgard Artistry and runs it through the fire: the way Thor does everything, with full commitment and zero ambiguity about what it is and what it intends to do.

Pine tar is not a modern ingredient dressed up in old language. It is genuinely, historically, stubbornly old: pulled from the slow burning of pine wood the same way it has been pulled for centuries, used by people who needed something that actually worked because they could not afford something that didn't. Sailors used it on ropes and hulls. Farmers used it around the homestead. Soapmakers have been putting it in bars for generations. It has never needed rebranding.

Thor's Essence: Forge Fire carries all of that history into a hot process bar that does not pretend to be something softer than it is. The pine tar arrives dark and resinous and deeply smoky: the scent of forge fire and ancient wood and work that matters. Cooked in the pot instead of poured, it comes out with an honest, rustic character. Then, like every bar we make, it cures a minimum of six weeks before it ever reaches our table.

Made using the hot process method with our goat milk formula and genuine pine tar. Cured a minimum of six weeks.

Weighs approximately 4 oz. Base recipe of goat milk, coconut oil, olive oil, and castor oil.

Pine tar will produce a naturally dark, deeply rustic bar: expect rich browns and blacks that are the mark of real pine tar content, not colorants. Pine tar scent is bold and authentic and will mellow very slightly as the bar ages. Keep dry between uses and store on a well-drained rack.
