Night & Dawn Rune Set: Black Obsidian & Botswana Agate

Night rides first. Day follows.

In the old tales, Nótt rides across the sky on her dark horse Hrímfaxi, and the foam from his bit falls as the morning dew. Behind her comes her son Dagr on Skinfaxi, whose shining mane lights up the whole earth and sky. Night gives birth to day, every single morning.

This set carries that story. Freyr's and Heimdall's ættir are cut in black obsidian, the stone of the night. Týr's ætt is cut in Botswana agate, banded in the soft grays of first light, and it ends where the story does: on Dagaz, the rune of dawn.

The runes rest in a wooden box with a laser engraved lid that tells the story at a glance: Nótt's ættir on one side, Dagr's on the other, and between them a moon giving way to the rising sun, with Dagaz standing on the line where night turns to day.

Stone lore: obsidian for protection and seeing clearly in the dark; Botswana agate for calm, comfort, and new beginnings.
