When the runes are poured and the molds are full and the excess resin sits waiting for a decision, the decision is always the same — pour it somewhere. Give it a shape. Let what was left over become something that could not have been planned because it was never planned. That is how the Náströnd Skulls exist. Not designed from scratch. Discovered at the end of the pour.

Which means every single one is different.

Some carry glitter caught in the resin like light trapped in deep water. Some hold crystals that ended up exactly where they ended up because that is where they were when the resin decided it was done moving. Some carry inclusions that have no explanation beyond the particular alchemy of what was happening on the workbench that day. The colors shift between pours — deep blacks, rich reds, translucent ambers, whatever the rune production left behind and the skull mold received without complaint.

Náströnd in the old texts is the shore of the dead — cold, distant, at the far edge of Niflheim where the waters run dark. It is not a gentle place. But it is an honest place. These skulls carry that same honesty. They are what they are — born from the leftover work of genuine craft production, shaped into something that belongs on a shelf, on an altar, on a desk that needs one dark beautiful thing sitting on it without explanation.

Small enough to carry intention. Large enough to carry presence. Available in whatever size the current pour produced.
